The second issue of CFG Coach Quarterly was distributed last week via email. I was disappointed that the issue was not printed and mailed, but I turned it in too late to be assured that it could be mailed to everybody before the end of school.

My Reflections
I am satisfied with the product, but somewhat dissatisfied with the process of writing and compiling the newsletter. It is taking me too long to develop and write these issues--my original goal for publication of this issue was February!
I need to figure out how to move the process along. I think that one thing that would help is if I sit down with Tim and Nan in July or early August and get help with sketching out the big ideas for the whole year. The writing seems to go pretty fast once I've finally settled on what to write about.

I think that perhaps the K16 CFG could help shoulder the effort. Each CFG quarterly has been timely and reflective, so don't beat yourself up. I appreciate the time we meet together and the opportunity we all share (you, me, and K16) that deepens our collective work.

Donna, I was checking in to read your blog as I normally do. I was surprised to see the Quarterly, but it was a pleasant surprise. The Portocol of the Month was interesting. I don't remember working with The Multiple Perspectives Protocol. Is it new? I can't wait for the chance to see it in action. Upon reflection, I imagine that this protocol would work well in a group counseling session with students.
You know that I love the whole concept of blogging. Your blog keeps reminding me that I will eventually start my own, sooner or later.
You are the real deal. I admire people who continue to sharpen their skills and branch out into new things.
