FRSSI Portfolio Presentation

Last week at the Fondren Reforming Schools Summer Institute, Mari and Ron made a presentation based on the portfolio work for the past 7 years.

Mari works with participants building their own narratives.

Ron working hard to make sure the 3 hours was as fun as informative.

A number of attendees found the investigation of both qualitative and quantitative to be the best way to create a well-rounded picture of their schools.

Taking a time to reflect during the hectic school year is not always easy.

Thanks for posting these photos, Michaelann. I would like to hear more about the session that Ron and Mari led. Interestingly, one of the Learning Community reflections stated "I would like to hear more success stories from the A+ schools. When we did the human graph those who were at 4 and 5 have great information to share. I'd love to hear more to implement strategies at my school." What's the best way for those of us who have good stories to share them with those who are hungry to hear them?
